Hopes of finding any more survivors from a capsized boat carrying about 200 refugees dwindled as the search was scaled down Saturday.
Rescuers had found 109 men and taken them to Christmas Island.
There was little hope of finding any of the missing men alive after the crowded boat capsized Thursday 120 nautical miles north of Christmas Island.
The boat was believed to have sailed from Sri Lanka, carrying mostly Afghan refugees seeking asylum in Australia.
Only five bodies had been recovered and Australian authorities allowed five merchant vessels to break off the search. Two Navy patrol boats and two planes continue looking Saturday. -Sapa-dpa
