Kabul -

At least 19 civilians were injured on Monday when a bomb went off in a bazaar in eastern Afghanistan, an official said.

“The bomb placed on a bicycle detonated in Khost city,” local official Baryalay Rawan said, referring to the capital of the province with the same name.

“All the injured were civilians, mostly those who have business in the bazaar,” Rawan said.

No one had claimed responsibility for the bombing, but officials usually blame the Taliban for such attacks. - Sapa-dpa
