Buzz Aldrin has taken a giant leap at the age of 81 - by dating a woman 30 years his junior.
The former astronaut, who has been married three times, reportedly started seeing former Borders bookstore executive Michelle Sucillon, 51, after walking out on his wife of 23 years.
They met at a book signing for his autobiography, Magnificent Desolation, and were recently spotted “making out like teenagers”.
One person who isn’t over the moon about the relationship is Mr Aldrin’s third wife, Lois Driggs Cannon.
She said: “He’s 81 and having kind of a mid-life crisis in old age.
“We’ve had a great life and I don’t blame Buzz, I blame the girl.
“He filed for divorce in June. The book signing where they met was in 2009, and I was there.
“She was kind of aggressive. But he didn’t start seeing her then. He’s been seeing her for about a year.
“I still think Buzz is the most wonderful man in the world and I still love him. I would hope we get back together.”
After following Neil Armstrong, his mission commander, walking on the moon in 1969, Mr Aldrin joined the US Air Force, and later fought battles with depression and alcoholism. - Daily Mail
