Berlin - British Prime Minister David Cameron will discuss Iran's nuclear programme, the war in Syria and an upcoming G8 summit with Angela Merkel during a two-day visit to Germany next week, a spokesman for the chancellor said Friday.
Cameron is to stay April 12-13 at Meseberg palace, the German government's guesthouse east of Berlin, returning a 2010 visit by Merkel to Chequers, the British premier's country retreat. Spokesman Georg Streiter said no news conference was scheduled.
Britain dismayed Germany this year with its demands to claw back powers from the European Union and Cameron's vow to hold a referendum on EU membership. - Sapa-dpa
