Lawyers wrap up Sandusky defence

Bellefonte - The defense in the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse trial wrapped up its case on Wednesday after days of testimony that included the former Penn State assistant football coach's wife saying she never saw anything sexual between him and a child.

Sandusky, charged in Centre County Court with 51 counts of abusing 10 boys over a 15-year period, did not take the stand in his own defense.

Closing arguments in the high-profile case, which has rocked Pennsylvania State University, are expected on Thursday. Jurors could begin deliberations by the end of the week. - Reuters
