Man confessed to Washington mall shooting

Washington - A 20-year-old man was charged on Monday with the murder of five people in a shooting rampage at a shopping mall in Burlington, Washington, and prosecutors said in court documents that he had confessed to the crime.

Turkish-born Arcan Cetin, a legal U.S. permanent resident, was informed of the charges against him in a brief hearing in Skagit County District Court in Mount Vernon, Washington and ordered held on $2 million bail.

According to charging documents, during an interview with investigators, Cetin admitted bringing a rifle into a Macy's store in Burlington and shooting 5 victims.
