Seoul, South Korea -

North Korea has released a propaganda video showing an American city being attacked by missiles while an instrumental version of “We are the World” plays.

Pyongyang has vowed to conduct its third nuclear test and has regularly criticised what it calls US hostility that drives it to boost its nuclear programs. But the video posted on Saturday by North Korea's official website on YouTube goes further.

Jets attack a burning American city while a man dreams of travelling on a space ship propelled by a rocket similar to one Pyongyang launched in December. The UN says that launch was a banned missile test.

Parts of the video apparently comes from the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” video game. The video later disappeared from North Korea's account after a copyright complaint. - Sapa-AP
