Athens - A 35-year-old woman lost her life and two people were injured on Thursday in a family feud in the Athens suburb of Koropi.

A 26-year-old woman killed her partner's ex-wife during a heated argument at the victim's home by attacking her with a knife, the police said.

The 26-year-old woman was arrested.

A few hours later, her 41-year-old partner went to her father's home and opened fire with a shotgun, injuring him and his wife.

The 41-year-old man who had two children with each woman, was also arrested shortly afterwards in a police chase.

According to police sources, the man was in a state of shock, requesting to talk to the eldest of his four children, blaming the 26-year-old woman's parents for everything.
