Duarte, California - A tour bus overturned along a Southern California freeway Thursday morning, causing multiple injuries.

California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs said most of the injuries were not considered life-threatening.

About 30 to 35 people were aboard the bus, CHP Lt. Mark Garrett told KTTV-TV.

TV news reports showed several people strapped to gurneys and being carried away.

The bus lay on its side with its front windows knocked out.

The route is commonly used for “gamblers' specials” that take tourists to desert casinos and Las Vegas.
