France - Two people died after a dispute between neighbours about loud music turned violent in the southern French city of Sete, reported French media.

According to reports, a 49-year-old man grew enraged by loud music from a birthday party at his neighbour's home after the neighbours refused his request to turn down the music. Allegedly, he then returned with a revolver and fired seven shots, hitting four people.

The dead included the 36-year-old tenant of the flat and a 42-year-old man. Of the two other gunshot victims, a woman was still listed in critical condition.

The shooting suspect is reportedly an instructor at a shooting club. He has been arrested. Police found six weapons and 5 000

rounds of munition in his flat. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to life in prison. - Sapa-dpa
