Kiev - Ukrainian artillery destroyed military vehicles that crossed from Russia into eastern Ukraine late Thursday, the office of President Petro Poroshenko said.

Poroshenko discussed reports of the incursion by armoured personnel carriers from Russia with British Prime Minister David Cameron and said that a “considerable part of this equipment was destroyed overnight by Ukrainian artillery,” it said in a statement.
