London - Hillary Clinton should take a drug test before the final presidential debate, Donald Trump has demanded.
He told a rally of supporters in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, that 68-year-old Clinton was getting ‘pumped up’ ahead of Wednesday’s third and final debate.
He said: ‘You want to know the truth? She’s getting pumped up. She’s getting pumped up for Wednesday night.
‘We’re like athletes... they make athletes take a drug test. I think we should take a drug test prior to the debate. Why don’t we do that? We should take a drug test – because I don’t know what’s going on with her.’
The 70-year-old also accused Clinton of being on drugs during last Sunday’s presidential debate.
Trump said: ‘At the beginning of her last debate, she was all pumped up at the beginning, and at the end it was like, huff, take me down. She could barely reach her car.’
He appeared to be referring to her health scare last month. She nearly collapsed at a 9/11 memorial event after a bout of pneumonia.
On Saturday Trump repeated claims that the contest ‘is being rigged by corrupt media pushing false allegations and outright lies’ so Clinton wins.
On Sunday he tweeted: ‘I lost large numbers of women voters based on made up events THAT NEVER HAPPENED!’
