Hanover, Germany - A woman in the German state of Lower Saxony suffered life-threatening injuries on Sunday after she was dragged behind a car with a rope which was tied around her neck, police said.
According to preliminary information, the male driver tied a rope around the 28-year-old woman's neck which he then fastened to his car's trailer coupling.
He then drove through the town of Hameln, pulling the woman behind him.
The badly injured woman was found on a footpath and was transported to hospital by helicopter.
