■ The Cape Town Male Voice Choir will have a gala farewell concert at Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre in Parow on Saturday June 24, at 7.30pm. The choir will be performing their repertoire from the upcoming tour to Uruguay and Argentina, including work by the tango composer, Astor Piazolla, arranged by Argentinian choral conductor Oscar Escalada, with whom they will be doing a masterclass while there.
