We are having a problem with the contractor laying the stormwater drainage system at Mahube Valley Phase 1.
Our tarred street is full of soil, they did not cover the holes they dug and the paving they removed has still not been replaced. We were expecting them to clear up the mess, but they have moved to other streets.
They are pouring water on the soil to dampen the dust but this creates mud from Motlalentwa, Motsamai and Hlabirwa streets.
We no longer open our windows and doors because of the dust, which is a health hazard. I hope my concerns will eventually reach the contractor working in our area.
