London - African cavemen began colonising the rest of the world 30,000 years earlier than previously thought, experts claim.

Archaeologists have discovered a trove of stone tools which prove that humans made their way out of Africa more than 100,000 years ago - previously thought to be between 40,000 and 70,000 years ago.

The team, led by Dr Jeffrey Rose of Birmingham University, found sharp tools at more than 100 sites in what is now Oman, in the Arabian Peninsula. The tools are from the Nubian, or Middle Stone Age period, evidence of which has previously only been found in central Africa.

The discovery is a breakthrough for scientists investigating how humans spread around the world. Dr Rose said: “At long last we’ve found the smoking gun of our exit from Africa.”

The toolmakers entered Arabia 106,000 years ago if not earlier, the team said, and were probably humans rather than Neanderthals. - Daily Mail

It shows that you’ll people only want to see what you people will want to see, even if logic shows otherwise. That’s why you’ll people lost the country.

Jandr0@06.46am - Anonymous' "grandma- wold be a wagon" comment is kind of muddled; but there's enough in that expression to suggest that someone of a creationist bent wrote it. I've already learned; there's no point in applying logic to these people; once they're infected with the mind-virus for the supernatural; and although they may otherwise be quite intelligent and ordered in their thinking on all other topics; when it comes to challenging their pet superstition they generally put their fingers in their ears, make agonized grimaces, and go "la-la-la-la" to the facts and evidence. In all other things and topics, they understand and apply the scientific method - it's just dogma and superstition that turns them to mindless zombies, figuratively stumbling with arms outstretched through the thickets of reality. And, with a brain addled by the corruption of its software, you can't blame an individual for his or her absurd retreat from the facts any more than you would blame someone hampered by the polio virus of a leg from walking normally. To take that polio thought forward: In all other physical activities that don't involve the withered limb, a polio victim may be a supreme athlete - but that destroyed part of the body simply makes that individual unable to apply that limb in an effective way. Unlike polio, though, once the victim of religious infection recognize she or he is under a spell, they are able to face up to facts and inoculate themselves enough to start thinking clearly again. And, that's why I personally invest time hoping a few will will be inoculated.

"Yea and if grandma had wheels she would be a wagon. She blinded me with science." Clearly you fully understand the scientific method and have a degree in science. Just in case you don't get it, my reply is intended to be sarcastic.

I guess that will do until someone else comes along and refutes that claim.
