London - A laptop which is marketed at women with features such as a manicure-friendly opening clasp has been criticised for reinforcing sexist stereotypes.
The Floral Kiss “lady laptop”, designed by Japanese company Fujitsu, has a gold-trim keyboard, flowery details and pre-installed desktop applications which inform users of their daily horoscopes.
Gillian Arnold, the chair of the British Computer Society, said: “This is so sad - sure, women like to look nice, but all this product does is demean.” - The Independent
