Las Vegas – Floyd Mayweather Jr. doesn't have access to a television, computer or telephone in the small solo jail cell where he's beginning the second week of a three-month jail sentence in a domestic violence case in Las Vegas.
That means Mayweather won't be able to see rival Manny Pacquiao's pay-per-view fight against Timothy Bradley on Saturday.
Las Vegas police officer Bill Cassell tells The Associated Press that lots of mail has arrived for Mayweather since someone posted the undefeated five-division champion's inmate number and address on Twitter.
Cassell says jail mail is screened, and some photos to Mayweather have been confiscated as “inappropriate.”
Mayweather's lawyers and his adviser, Leonard Ellerbe, didn't immediately respond to messages on Friday.
