Durban – Persistent drizzle throughout the day forced the toss in the domestic T20 Challenge play-off qualifier between the Dolphins and Titans to be delayed at Kingsmead, in Durban, on Wednesday.

The covers were still laid over the square at 5.30pm when the toss was due to take place, with the umpires Adrian Holdstock and Ian Howell taking regular walks onto the outfield to assess the conditions.

There is a reserve day in place on Thursday if the match is abandoned.

The Dolphins ended second in the league phase of the competition and are hosting the Pretoria side after they ended third with the Cape Cobras awaiting the winner in final, which they will host at Newlands in Cape Town on Sunday. – Sapa
