Johannesburg – The second unofficial four-day Test between South Africa A and Australia A ended in a draw, with South Africa claiming a series victory in Townsville, Australia, on Sunday.

Callum Ferguson made 82 before he was run out by David Wiese, being the only wicket to fall on the day.

A rampant Phillip Hughes smashed an unbeaten 243 runs from 440 deliveries, including 26 fours and a six.

The South African bowlers could not get any more joy from the wicket with Simon Harmer and Hardus Viljoen the only two to take any wickets, finishing on 1/138 and 1/76 respectively.

The hosts were 454/3 at close of play, leaving the match drawn. – Sapa
