Johanensburg - Cape Cobras coach Paul Adams believes it is crucial for his side to regain their focus ahead of their Sunfoil Series match against the Titans at Sahara Willowmoore Park in Benoni this weekend.

With just two rounds of matches to go, things are getting tight at the top with the Cobras, the Highveld Lions and the Warriors all vying for the crown.

“We need to focus on our game and refine our focus. We need to switch on again after the losses and get back on track,” said Adams on Tuesday.

“We need to have a fine focus in each session, especially after the way we lost the last two games.”

The Cobras narrowly lost their last game against the Dolphins in a thrilling match which the KZN franchise clinched by 15 runs.

The Titans are still without a win after eight matches and, while some teams might think there is an easy game ahead, Adams insists his side will take the game as it comes.

Adams said the Centurion-based franchise should not be underestimated and the rivalry that goes along with the contest is always something to look forward to.

“We know the Titans can be strong and there is a long history of rivalry between the two sides, which always makes for an interesting contest,” said Adams.
