Amla sets triple ton record

Johannesburg – Hashim Amla became the first South African to score a triple Test century when he struck a four to reach 303 on the fourth day of the first Test against England at the Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Amla's teammates gathered on the dressing room balcony as he neared the milestone, and the crowd rose to their feet to applaud his achievement. – Sapa
