COLOMBO - Sri Lanka reached 395 for six at lunch on the second day, as they continued to dominate proceedings in the second Test against South Africa at the Sinhalese Sports Club on Friday.

Mahela Jayawardene was the only wicket to fall in the morning session, as he was run out by a direct hit from Alviro Petersen for 165. Debutant Niroshan Dickwella, who grew in confidence after a testing afternoon session on the first day, went onto his maiden Test fifty off 69 balls, as the home side continued to score at a rate over 3.5 runs to the over.

With Dickwella at the crease is Dilruwan Perera, who is on 9 not out.
