@markb : guy, be a bit of a patriot .... yes, in the last 2 games we could not defend 300 .... but that was because the wicket was flat which made it good batting wickets .... you must remember Sri Lanka are not pushovers, they were finalists in the previous world cup with great batsmen. Also , our team has been depeleted with the likes of Amla, Kallis and Steyn rested, a good chance to give the rest of the guys chances .... yes we lost, but it gave the team the wake up call that we cannot always rely on our big guns to win matches ..... as for your criticism of AB, dude, the guy just took over the captaincy now, we cant expect it to be all rosy, he showed with his bat that he can do it ..... Well done to the boys and especially Graeme Smith for proving that the hunger is still there .... all we need do now is do better with the ball in hand .... the next series with be a thrashing of New Zealand, WATCH THIS SPACE .....
