Donald named Australia’s bowling coach

Johannesburg - Former Proteas cricketer Allan Donald has been appointed as bowling coach of Australia it was confirmed by Cricket Australia (CA) on Tuesday. Donald claimed 330 wickets in Test cricket for South Africa, and will replace Craig McDermott following his departure from the position. At this stage, Donald's appointment is still short-term. His first assignment will be helping the side on their tour of Sri Lanka in July, before a one-day series in South Africa. Australia will then welcome South Africa for a three Test series starting in Perth in November. - African News Agency (ANA)
