Islamabad – Struggling opening batsman Mohammad Hafeez is not guaranteed to earn a place in the Pakistan team for next month's two-Test series against South Africa after scoring only 102 runs in his 10 test innings this year.
South Africa whitewashed Pakistan 3-0 in test series in February and the team then lost to Zimbabwe last month to squeeze out a 1-1
Hafeez says it's “not acceptable to lose a test match against Zimbabwe” and if selectors drop someone “it's always a challenge for that player to work hard and prove that he is good enough.”
South Africa is the team against which Hafeez has always struggled, scoring only one half century and a total of 307 runs in 18 innings. – Sapa-AP
