New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum won the toss and decided to bat first against the West Indies in the third and final Test at Kensington Oval in Barbados on Thursday.
Despite a ten-wicket win in the second Test in Trinidad which levelled the series at 1-1, the hosts have made two changes to their final eleven.
Batsman Jermaine Blackwood, who scored 63 in his debut Test innings at the Queen's Park Oval, and fast bowler Shannon Gabriel are out from the last match with spinner Shane Shillingford and fast-medium bowler Jason Holder, making his Test debut, taking their places.
New Zealand have made one change, bolstering their seam attack by bringing in Neil Wagner at the expense of leg-spinner Ish Sodhi.
