Sharjah, United Arab Emirates – Pakistan has left out all-rounder Abdul Razzaq while including Shoaib Malik and wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal in the list of 30 probables for World Twenty20 in March.
Razzaq, who has played 32 Twenty20s, made an unimpressive return to shortest format last November against South Africa in the United Arab Emirates when he could score only 10 runs in two matches and didn't take a wicket.
He went to South Africa in the subsequent series, but returned home with a hamstring injury without playing a match.
The probables also include fast bowler Mohammad Irfan, who is expected to return from a hip fracture which had sidelined him for nearly two months.
Pakistan won the World Twenty20 in 2009 by defeating Sri Lanka in the final at Lord's.
