HAMBANTOTA, Sri Lanka – Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene elected to field after winning the toss against New Zealand in the fourth ODI in Hambantota on Saturday.

Sri Lanka lead the five-match series 2-0 following victories in the second and third matches. The opening one-dayer was called off without a ball being bowled due to rain.

The hosts made one change from the side that played the last match, replacing an unfit opener Tillakaratne Dilshan with Dinesh Chandimal.

New Zealand brought in Andrew Ellis and debutant paceman Adam Milne in place of Kyle Mills and Jacob Oram.

New Zealand: Ross Taylor (capt), Rob Nicol, Brendon McCullum, Kane Williamson, James Franklin, Bradley-John Watling, Nathan McCullum, Andrew Ellis, Adam Milne, Tim Southee, Trent Boult.

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (capt), Upul Tharanga, Kumar Sangakkara, Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Lahiru Thirimanne, Thisara Perera, Jeevan Mendis, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lasith Malinga, Rangana Herath.
