Wellington, New Zealand – West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo won the toss and chose to bat Wednesday in the second and final Twenty20 against New Zealand at Westpac Stadium.

New Zealand won the opening match of the series by 81 runs after winning the test series 3-0 and sharing the one-day series 2-2.

The West Indies made two changes, naming wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin in place of Samuel Badree and Jason Holder in place of Kieran Powell.

New Zealand made one change, resting seamer Tim Southee and naming Mitchell McClenaghan to bowl in a new-ball partnership with Adam Milne.

Bravo said the West Indies were eager to finish on a high note at the end of a long New Zealand tour.

“If we do well in this game the disappointments we had in previous games is going to be written off,” he said. “We leveled the ODI series and if we can level the T20 series it's going to be very good for us as a group, as a young team that came here with not much experience but looking to strive for great things in 2014.”

New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum was happy to bowl first in perfect conditions.

“The pitch has got a nice bit of color about it,” he said. “It's usually pretty good here and with the short boundaries, stats suggest the chasing team does pretty well here.”
