Johannesburg – George Coetzee looks to spice up the year with an Investec Cup victory at the tour's finale which takes place at Sun City from March 20 to 23.

The first two rounds will be played at Millvale, a private retreat in the area, and the final two rounds at the Lost City Golf Course.

Since his victory on the European Tour at the Joburg Open in February, Coetzee has made the top 20 in three of his last four results, two of which were World Golf Championship events.

Last Sunday, Coetzee ranked 56th in the world, finished 11th at the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco and could be the man to beat in the North West Province this week.

Coetzee is 23rd in the Chase to the Investec Cup with 891 points separating him from the leader. Winning the final tournament in the series, which carries 1500 points for the winner, could put him ahead on the standings.

He faces his stiffest competition from England's Ross Fisher, ranked 76 in the world, and South Africa's Thomas Aiken, ranked 85.– Sapa
