Johannesburg – The Lions have made six changes to the team to face the Bulls in their Super Rugby match at Loftus Versveld, in Pretoria.

Coach Johan Ackermann once again made radical changes to the makeup of his side which ousted the Cheetahs 34-29 in a high-scoring affair at Ellis Park last week.

In the forwards, Robbie Coetzee and Julian Redelinghuys will return to the front row for the clash.

In the backline there were two positional changes. Andries Coetzee shifts to left wing and Harold Vorster moves across to outside centre. At fullback, Marnitz Boshoff makes a start while Howard Mnisi gets the nod at inside centre.

Lionel Mapoe failed a late fitness test, and Alwyn Hollenbach, fresh off Vodacom cup action, will provide cover on the bench. Mapoe was struggling with a knock to the knee which did not recover in time.
