CAPE TOWN - Springbok centre Damian de Allende returns to full training with the DHL Stormers this week after recovering from a quad injury, in a timely boost following injuries to midfielders Juan de Jongh and Shaun Treeby sustained in the victory against the Toyota Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

De Jongh left the field early in the game with concussion, which will rule him out of the clash with the Sunwolves at DHL Newlands on Saturday, while Treeby will be sidelined for two weeks with a rib injury.

Fullback SP Marais injured his knee after landing awkwardly and sustained no major ligament damage, but his progress will be monitored weekly as to how he responds to treatment.

Props Oli Kebble (thigh) and Ali Vermaak (calf) are still recovering from their respective injuries. Both players face a race against time to be fit for the Vodacom Super Rugby quarterfinals.
