Double injury blow for Bulls

Johannesburg – The Bulls suffered a double injury blow to stalwart loose forwards Deon Stegmann and Dewald Potgieter during their first match on tour against the Hurricanes in Napier, New Zealand, on Saturday.

Stegmann (groin injury) and Potgieter (bicep) were forced to leave the field during the match.

Team doctor Org Strauss confirmed that both players would return to South Africa on Sunday.

Wimpie van der Walt will fly to New Zealand to replace Stegmann, while in a reshuffle among the forwards Grant Hattingh will move to loose forward as replacement for Potgieter and Victor Matfield will replace Hattingh as lock cover. – Sapa
