Johannesburg – Following the Lions 41-13 loss to the Waratahs in a Super Rugby clash in Sydney on Sunday, three players have returned to South Africa.

The Lions medical staff said utility backs Lionel Mapoe and Courtnall Skosan each suffered a knee (medial collateral ligament) and hamstring injury, respectively, while forward Derick Minnie had concussion.
