Johannesburg – Lions head coach Johan Ackermann was forced to make a single change in the forward pack ahead of his team's Super Rugby clash with the Crusaders at Ellis Park on Saturday evening.

Ackermann brought in Martin Muller, at lock, for the injured Franco van der Merwe.

In the backline, the former Springbok made a double change, bringing in Andries Coetzee, who starts at fullback, with Lionel Mapoe coming into the starting XV at outside centre.

As a result, Deon van Rensburg shifts to wing.

Meanwhile on the bench, Malcolm Marx is set to make his Super Rugby debut while Warwick Tecklenburg and Elton Jantjies are also two new inclusions for Saturday's fixture.
