Mendoza, Argentina – Argentina will show five changes to the team beaten by New Zealand in the Rugby Championship when they tackle Australia in Mendoza Saturday.

In come prop Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro, flank Rodrigo Baez, scrum-half Martin Landajo, left-wing Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino and centre Horacio Agulla for Ramiro Herrera, Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe, Tomas Cubelli, Manuel Montero and Marcelo Bosch respectively.

Coach Daniel Hourcade said tighthead prop Herrera and outside centre Bosch had played a lot of top-level rugby and needed a break.

Both are among the replacements for the final round southern hemisphere championship match at Estadio Malvinas Argentinas in western city Mendoza at the foothills of the Andes.

Outstanding flank Lobbe has returned to France to be with his wife after the birth of their second child.

Landajo and Cubelli regularly alternate between starting and the bench while defensively-suspect Montero drops out of the matchday 23.

Australia survived a late Argentine rally to win 32-25 on the Gold Coast this month.
