Durban – The Sharks have named an unchanged starting XV to take on the Hurricanes in their Super Rugby encounter at Kings Park in Durban on Saturday.

The bench was also not altered, meaning there was still no place for former captain and Springbok loose forward Keegan Daniel as he concludes his recovers from injury.

There are a total of 11 South Africa players in the 23 for the clash against the New Zealanders, who are playing their first game of the season.

Director of rugby Jake White saw his Sharks side begin the competition with a bang last week when they overcame the Bulls 31-16 on the east coast.

The Sharks team is: SP Marais, Odwa Ndungane, Paul Jordaan, Frans Steyn, Lwazi Mvovo, Patrick Lambie, Cobus Reinach, Ryan Kankowski, Willem Alberts, Marcell Coetzee, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Anton Bresler, Jannie du Plessis, Bismarck du Plessis (capt), Tendai Mtawarira.

Replacements: Kyle Cooper, Dale Chadwick, Lourens Adriaanse, Stephan Lewies, Jean Deysel, Charl McLeod, Heimar Williams, S'bura Sithole. – Sapa
