Three changes for Lions

Johannesburg – Lions coach Johan Ackermann made three changes to his winning combination ahead of their clash with the Bulls at Ellis Park.

The Lions edged the Reds 18-17 in Brisbane last week, and Ackermann opted to make to make two changes among the forwards and one in the backline.

In the pack, Jacques van Rooyen comes in at loosehead prop for Schalk van der Merwe, Robert Kruger drops to the bench and will be replaced by Andries Ferreira at lock.

Wing Anthony Volmink makes a welcome return to the backline with Sampie Mastriet falling out of the match-day 23-man squad
