Pretoria - A senior Bafana Bafana player was arrested for speeding.
The player who's name is known to Pretoria News but cannot be revealed until he has appeared in court, was doing 173km/h in a 120 zone.
Tshwane Metro police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba said the man was arrested along the N1 highway at the John Vorster offramp travelling towards Johannesburg.
Mahamba said the player was alone at the time.
The man was due to appear in court soon. - Pretoria News
