Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana will face Mozambique in an international friendly match on Tuesday, 15 November 2016. The clash will take place at the 45-thousand seater Estadio do Zimpeto in Maputo (kickoff 19h00).

The two nations last met at the Cape Town Stadium in the opening match of the 2014 CHAN tournament (Saturday, 11 January) where South Africa came back from a goal down to win 3-1 with two goals from Bernard Parker and one from Hlompho Kekana.

The Os Mambas, as the Mozambique national team is popularly known, is currently ranked 95th in the world and 25th on the continent, South Africa is 62nd and 13th respectively.

The match against Mozambique comes just three days after Bafana Bafana play Senegal in the second match of the 2018 Fifa World Cup Russia qualifiers.

That encounter will take place on Saturday, 12 November 2016 at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane (kickoff is at 15h00).
