DURBAN - The full list of members for the Bafana Bafana job search committee will be released on Thursday, Safa chief executive Dennis Mumble said.

Several people on this roster had to be interviewed by the association to determine whether they did not have a conflict of interest, meaning they should not be helping in the hunt for the man to replace Shakes Mashaba while they are also interested in the vacant post.

Former national team captains Lucas Radebe and Neil Tovey, now technical director at Safa, will be part of the search committee, but Mumble said he would confirm a few more names on Thursday morning.

Bafana have been without a coach since December last year after Mashaba was sacked for gross misconduct, insubordination and violating the Safa communication policy. But the coach hasn’t quite walked away.

On Tuesday, Mashaba approached the Labour Court to stop the appointment of his successor until an arbitrator has decided his fate at the CCMA on March 7, 8 and 9. His first prize is to be reinstated.

Safa want to wrap up the search for a coach by the end of the month so he can take over in the two international friendlies against Angola and Guinea-Bissau pencilled during the Fifa dates later in March.
