Tau, Erasmus and Manyama to lead Bafana attack

JOHANNESBURG – Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has named his starting XI for the international friendly match against Zambia scheduled for Moruleng Stadium on Tuesday evening. 

Darren Keet will man the goalposts, while Abubaker Mobara, Sifiso Hlanti, Lorenzo Gordinho and Rivaldo Coetzee complete the back four.

Andile Jali, Tiyani Mabunda, Aubrey Ngoma will direct things in the midfield, while upfront Percy Tau, Kermit Erasmus and Lebogang Manyama will be the target men.

Ronwen Williams, Lebogang Phiri, Tebogo Langerman, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Bongani Zungu, Sibusiso Vilakazi and Thamsanqa Gabuza will start on the bench for this friendly international.

Tokelo Rantie, who opened the scoring in Bafana’s 2-0 win over Nigeria on Saturday, has been omitted from the match squad.

Kickoff is at 7pm.
