Ghana face Burkina Faso at the Mbombela Stadium in an Afcon semi-final match.

Nelspruit - Mubarak Wakaso scored from the penalty spot to put Ghana 1-0 ahead at half-time in their Africa Cup of Nations semi-final against underdogs Burkina Faso in Nelspruit on Wednesday night.

The winners of the match will face Nigeria, who thumped Mali 4-1 in the earlier semi-final in Durban, in Sunday's tournament finale at the National Stadium in Johannesburg.

The losing side will face Mali in the third-place playoff in Port Elizabeth on Saturday. - Sapa
