JOHANNESBURG – Acornbush and KwaDukuza United, who produced the biggest upsets in the last 32, will look to continue with their giant-killing acts in the Nedbank Cup last 16.

The two amateur sides find themselves in tough draws, with KwaDukuza hosting the defending champions SuperSport United while Acornbush take on Kaizer Chiefs – the most successful team in the tournament’s history.

These two sides will be buoyed by their performance in the last 16. KwaDukuza eliminated Ajax Cape Town while Acornbush stunned Cape Town City.

Both those wins were at home and they should see them garnering more support for these matches. There are two all-Premier Division clashes. Mamelodi Sundowns take on Golden Arrows while Free State Stars face Orlando Pirates.

Ea Lla Koto will host Pirates twice in a space of a week. The first will be in the league on April 1 and the second in the Nedbank somewhere in between April 5-8.

This tournament is the Buccaneers’ last chance to salvage what has been a miserable season for the club, made worse by the fact that this slump coincides with the club turning 80 this year. They haven't had much to celebrate, getting their first win of the year in this tournament, three months into the year. Winning this trophy will go a long way in wiping away that disappointment. But they have a lot of work to do before thinking about that, starting with their clash against Ea Lla Koto.
