Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns forward Anthony Laffor is hopeful about his side's chances of finishing off the job when they meet Medeama SC in a second leg CAF Confederation Cup match on Wednesday.

The Brazilians won the first leg match 3-1 in Pretoria, coming from a goal down to score three goals in the final 10 minutes. Looking to add to their Absa Premiership and Telkom Knockout winners' medals this season, Laffor is confident that his side can wrap up the tie against Medeama in Ghana on Wednesday night.

“They played very well in the first leg but lost concentration along the line. They are a very good side. They are under pressure to win the game and we must capitalise on that,” he told the media.

“We don't need to do much to qualify but we still want to be in the competition. They will have to score two unanswered goals to secure qualification which is very difficult,” said the Liberian international.

“A draw or a narrow loss will get us qualification, so we are not under pressure,” Laffor said on arrival in Ghana. - African News Agency (ANA)
