Cape Town - Just two players have been ruled out from the opening round of the MTN8 starting on Friday night and continuing throughout the weekend.
Sphamandla Mlilo was red-carded for Platinum Stars in midweek and has to sit out their clash against Chippa United on Saturday. The other player ruled out over the weekend is star Mamelodi Sundowns defender Thabo Nthethe.
The Bafana Bafana centre-back carries over a suspension from last season and will not feature against SuperSport United on Sunday.
