London – Police searching Wembley stadium in advance of the Olympic Games have misplaced a set of internal keys but security has not been compromised, organisers said Monday.
“On the morning of Tuesday 24 July, officers on Olympic police operations at Wembley stadium reported that internal security keys, being used by them as part of searches, were missing,” a Scotland Yard spokeswoman said.
Both Scotland Yard and Games organizers LOCOG said security had not been compromised and the relevant locks had been changed.
