London - Michael Carrick believes he has played his last game for Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The 34-year-old was accompanied by his children Jacey and Louise as he led United around the pitch after Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

Carrick is United’s second longest serving player behind Wayne Rooney and remains a big influence on the dressing room, but the club has yet to make a decision over offering him a new contract for next season.

Carrick will not be short of offers should he leave Old Trafford after making more than 400 appearances for the club. Everton, West Ham, Newcastle and Arsenal have all shown interest in him.
