London – Leicester players will be whisked off on an all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas if they win the Premier League.

The Foxes travel to Arsenal today where victory would see them extend their lead over the Gunners at the top of the table to eight points.

It emerged last week that Claudio Ranieri’s squad would not be earning any extra cash bonuses if they completed one of the most remarkable achievements in English football history.

However, they have been promised an all expenses paid trip to Sin City if they pull off the previously unimaginable feat of landing the title.

It is the latest show of generosity from the club’s billionaire owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and his son Aiyawatt, who have been know to provide free beer for supporters at the King Power Stadium on match-days.

However, Leicester may face questions about whether the incentive was agreed before the start of the season, in line with Premier League rules. – Mail on Sunday
